How do I write a professional flyer advertising services a work from home Admin Assistant?
I am interested in working from home as an administrative assistant, bookkeeper, etc. and want to create a flyer advertising this service. I am completely blank as to what information to include on such a flyer and how to lay it out. Does anyone have any suggestions or samples? Thanks so much for ANY help!!
I work in advertising and creating flyers is a good way to go if you’re looking for a low cost way of advertising your services.
What to include depends on where you’re going to be distributing your flyers. If you’re mailing them to businesses, then your name (or business name if you have one), your types of services offered, your contact information and your experience are all good to include.
If you’re posting your flyer somewhere, then be sure you include tear offs at the bottom with your phone number. Your best bet is going to be to send them to businesses or take them in person, though, as opposed to posting them somewhere and hoping the right person takes a look.
Also, look for business expos near you because this is a great way to pass out your flyer to contacts and meet these people face to face. Small business administration meetings are another good area for you to network with people and let them know you’re out there.
It’s also good to spend about $15-20 to get some business cards. When you’re meeting people face to face, your card just gives your contact a surefire way to keep up with your contact info.
Good luck to you!
